Shine Down (©2002 Mike Indest) This little e.p. caught me totally out of the blue. Mike Indest is an indie artist out of New Orleans, and Shine Down is killer pop. It has elements of techno - and good old rock and roll. He's done other stuff that is pretty decent, but this is his best work so far in my opinion. |

After taking a break after the departure of Ross Childress, the band came back with Youth. I was surprised at how much I liked this album, considering how luke warm their previous effort was. Judging by the album's reception by the general public, youth is indeed wasted on the young. |

Shadowman
(©2005
Muse-Wrapped) On Shadowman Steve proves that he's not lost any of his edge. His voice is in fine form, and he's written some kick ass tunes. Features Collective Soul's new axemeister Joel Kosche, and he gets a decent work out. Although not as provocative as Glossolalia it is still a welcome return by one of rock's great voices. |

Lucy I'm In Love (©2005 Elvis & Sweetie Pie Records)
Larry is one of those pop records that proves age doesn't matter. The band features the talents of Marty Dieckmeyer, and Glen Lystne. The names may not mean much to many, but the music they create is pretty bloody good. |

Clear limited edition 0327 (©2004 MSI)
SAGA front man Michael Sadler released his first full length solo album. It's not a complete 180 from his day job, but it is a solid album and one worth checking out. It's getting better distribution now and won't be so hard to find. |
